Sensei Q
The latest installment in the SHAOLIN JAZZ mixtape series is dedicated to the legendary music mogul Quincy Jones. Sensei Q is a 5-track EP that features cinematic samples and breaks from the immensely underrated and accomplished catalog of film scores and movie soundtracks produced and composed by Jones. And in true SHAOLIN JAZZ fashion, each track is laced with the lyrical prowess of the iconic rap group Wu-Tang Clan. There’s also guest appearances by the late great Notorious B.I.G. and Wu-Tang affiliate Shabazz the Disciple.
Sweet Nancy from Shaolin
Sweet Nancy from Shaolin is the 4th mixtape installment to the SHAOLIN JAZZ music catalog. The project spotlights the work of the legendary and unsung Nancy Wilson set to the iconic wordplay of Ghostface Killah and the mighty Wu-Tang Clan. Nothing but gems for your soul and more. The project features appearances by Redman, Ron Isley, Killa Priest, Keith Murray, G-Dep, Puff Daddy, D-Angelo and the late great Big Pun.
Byrd Over Staten
Byrd Over Staten is an homage to one of the most hip cats to ever play trumpet . . . Mr. Donald Byrd. This installment to the SHAOLIN JAZZ music catalog features samples and original music by Prof. Byrd laced with lyrics by the infamous Wu-Tang Clan.
Blow One for Clarence
On January 17th, 2016 the original dirty rapper passed away. His name was Clarence Reid, but he was known moreover around the world as Blowfly. In tribute to his music and influence, the creators of SHAOLIN JAZZ would like to "Blow One for Clarence". Enjoy.

SHAOLIN JAZZ LIVE (Single)
Months prior to the first-ever SHAOLIN JAZZ L!VE performance at Blues Alley 2-Tone got together with members of Sound of the City Band to record live versions of two selections from The 37th Chamber ("Chameleon 500" and "Baby I Got Yo Love"). The reworked songs were packaged together along with album cover work by Shamona Stokes (winner of the SHAOLIN JAZZ Album Cover Design Contest).
The Gil Scott Suite
In honor of the musical and wordplay genius of the late Gil Scott Heron, the creators of SHAOLIN JAZZ are proud to present the 2nd installment to their mixtape series, The Gil Scott Suite. This 3 track EP features some Gil Scott grooves laced with lyrics by members of the mighty Wu-Tang Clan.

SHAOLIN JAZZ - The 37th Chamber
Conceived by Gerald Watson and produced by DJ 2-Tone Jones, SHAOLIN JAZZ – The 37th Chamber is a testament to the stylistic connections between both Jazz and Hip-Hop. It is a mix project whereby various Jazz songs and breaks are fused with a cappellas and vocal samples from the iconic Hip-Hop group Wu-Tang Clan. The music and lyrics are astutely crafted to match both in cadence and tone, with the Jazz selections used also helping to further accentuate the essence and intensity of the Clan. The initial inspiration for SHAOLIN JAZZ came by way of graphic designer Logan Walters who recreated a series of Wu-Tang album covers to resemble those of earlier Blue Note and Impulse Jazz album covers.
